Welcome to alanbraxe.com (the "Site"), the official website of the artist Alan Braxe and of the record label Vulture. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Site. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. About the Site
The Site is an informational and promotional website. It provides information about Alan Braxe, the Vulture label (at /vulture), their music, releases, and related projects. The Site does not sell any goods or services and does not process payments. You do not need to create an account to use it.
2. No Sales — External Shops and Links
The Site does not sell anything directly and does not process payments. Where the Site links to a shop — for example to buy music or official merchandise — those purchases take place on the websites of our partners and authorised retailers (such as our record labels, distributors, and official merch stores), each operating under its own terms and privacy policy.
These are outlets we link to intentionally, but we are not the seller: the purchase is concluded directly with that retailer, and matters such as payment, delivery, returns, and customer service are handled by them. For any question about an order, please contact the retailer you bought from.
3. Intellectual Property
The content on the Site — including music, sound recordings, lyrics, artwork, photographs, videos, logos, designs, and text — is protected by French and international intellectual-property laws. It is owned by Vulture, Alan Braxe, and their respective rights holders.
Whoever owns a given item, the same rule applies: you may view and enjoy the content on the Site for your own personal use, but you may not copy, reproduce, download, distribute, modify, republish, sell, or otherwise reuse any of it — and you may not claim it as your own — without the prior written permission of the relevant rights holder, except where the law expressly allows it.
The names "Alan Braxe" and "Vulture", together with their associated logos, are protected trademarks and brand names. You may not use them without our prior written permission.
4. Unsolicited Submissions
We do not solicit, and we ask that you do not send us, any confidential, secret, or proprietary information or material through the Site, by email, or in any other way. Any information, music, recordings, demos, ideas, suggestions, concepts, artwork, designs, or other materials you submit or send to us — whether or not at our request — will be treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary, and we are under no obligation to keep them confidential, to use them, to respond to them, or to pay any compensation for them.
By submitting or sending any materials to us, you (i) represent and warrant that the materials are original to you, that no other party has any rights to them, and that any moral rights in them have been waived to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law; and (ii) grant us a royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, and fully transferable, assignable, and sublicensable right and licence to use, copy, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, and display such material, in whole or in part, and to incorporate it into other works in any form or medium now known or later developed. We cannot be responsible for maintaining any material you provide, and we may delete or destroy it at any time.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Site lawfully and not to:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers, or any connected systems;
- interfere with or disrupt the operation, security, or integrity of the Site;
- use automated means to scrape, harvest, or overload the Site in a way that harms its operation;
- use the Site in any way that infringes the rights of others or breaches applicable law.
6. Newsletter
You may choose to subscribe to our newsletter by submitting your email address. Subscription is based on your consent, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send you. How we handle your email is described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Third-Party Services and Links
The Site relies on third-party providers (for example, hosting and email services) and contains links to third-party platforms. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party service or website. Links are provided for convenience only and do not imply endorsement.
8. Disclaimer
The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we aim to keep the information on the Site accurate and up to date, we make no warranties, express or implied, that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that the content is complete or current. Your use of the Site is at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vulture and Alan Braxe shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Site or any third-party site linked from it. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable French law.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to the Site or these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent French courts, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rules that may grant you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence within the European Union.
11. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed, and the remaining provisions shall remain valid and in full force and effect.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above indicates the latest revision. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
