This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you visit alanbraxe.com (the "Site"), the official website of the artist Alan Braxe and of the record label Vulture.
We have deliberately kept this Site privacy-friendly. We do not sell anything on the Site, we do not run advertising, we do not use tracking cookies, we do not build profiles of individuals, and we never sell or rent your personal data. The only personal data we actively collect is the email address you give us, if you choose to subscribe to our newsletter.
1. Who We Are (Data Controller)
The data controller responsible for your personal data is:
VULTURE — a French limited liability company (Société à responsabilité limitée), share capital €7,622.45, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under No. 429 701 766 (RCS Paris). Registered office: CHEZ BURODAFER, 5 RUE DES SUISSES, 75014 PARIS, France. Contact: hi@alanbraxe.com
Because we are established in France and address part of our audience in the European Union, this Site complies with European and French data-protection law, under the supervision of the French authority, the CNIL.
2. What Data We Collect
Newsletter subscription
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. When you submit the subscription form on the Site, you agree to this Privacy Policy and to receive our emails — that is the basis on which we contact you.
Providing your email is entirely optional. You can use the whole Site without subscribing, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send you.
Audience measurement (anonymous analytics)
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the Site is used (for example, how many people viewed a given page). This tool is cookieless and does not identify you. It does not set tracking cookies, does not use any persistent cross-site identifier, and does not store your IP address. Visitors are distinguished only by a temporary hash derived from the incoming request, which is automatically discarded after 24 hours.
The information measured is limited to anonymous, aggregated data points such as:
- page viewed and referring page;
- approximate geolocation (e.g. country/region);
- device type, operating system, and browser;
- timestamp of the visit.
This data tells us what is popular — never who you are. It cannot be used to re-identify you.
Technical and hosting data
Like any website, our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically processes limited technical data (such as IP address and browser information) for the short time needed to deliver the Site and to keep it secure and available. This data is not used to identify or profile you.
What we do not collect
- We do not sell goods or services on this Site, so we collect no names, postal addresses, phone numbers, or payment details.
- We do not use advertising, behavioural tracking, retargeting, "lookalike" audiences, or social-media ad pixels.
- We do not track which specific person viewed which content.
3. How We Use Your Data and Our Legal Basis
- To send you our newsletter (news about Alan Braxe and Vulture releases, events, and projects). We do this with your consent, given when you subscribe.
- To measure our audience in aggregate and improve the Site. We do this on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding general usage. Because this measurement is anonymous and strictly limited to audience statistics, it falls within the CNIL's exemption from prior consent for audience-measurement tools — which is why no cookie banner is needed.
- To keep the Site secure and available. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a safe, functioning website.
- To comply with the law and respond to valid legal requests. Legal basis: legal obligation.
We do not carry out any automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.
4. Cookies
This Site does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and our analytics are cookieless. For this reason, no cookie consent banner is required to browse the Site. We may use only strictly necessary, technical means required to make the Site work (such as remembering your language preference); these do not track you.
5. Who We Share Your Data With
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share it only with the service providers ("processors") that help us operate the Site, each bound by a data processing agreement and acting solely on our instructions:
- Loops (loops.so) — receives your email address to manage your newsletter subscription and send our emails. See Loops' privacy policy: https://loops.so/privacy.
- Vercel — hosts the Site, and therefore processes basic technical connection data (such as your IP address) for the short time needed to deliver the Site and keep it secure; Vercel also provides our anonymous, cookieless audience measurement. See Vercel's privacy policy: https://vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
We may also disclose personal data where strictly necessary to comply with a legal obligation, a court order, or a valid request from a public authority, or to protect our rights.
If our activities were ever reorganised, sold, or transferred (for example as part of a merger or acquisition), your personal data could be transferred as part of that operation, and would remain protected under terms consistent with this policy.
6. International Data Transfers
Our service providers (Vercel and Loops) are based in the United States, so your data may be processed there. Where this happens, the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards recognised under European data-protection law — namely the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses included in each provider's data processing terms.
7. How Long We Keep Your Data
- Newsletter email: kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, after which it is removed. We may keep a minimal record (such as your address on a suppression list) solely to ensure we do not email you again.
- Audience measurement: the data is anonymous and aggregated; the temporary visit hash is discarded after 24 hours, and no personal data is retained.
- Technical/hosting logs: kept only for the short period needed for security and operation.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- rectify inaccurate or incomplete data;
- erase your data ("right to be forgotten");
- restrict or object to our processing;
- data portability (receive your data in a portable format);
- withdraw your consent at any time (for the newsletter, simply click "unsubscribe" in any email, or contact us). Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal;
- define directives regarding the fate of your data after your death, as provided under French law.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hi@alanbraxe.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
9. Children
This Site is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 15 without the consent of a holder of parental authority. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. However, no transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of data transmitted to the Site.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal or operational reasons. The "Last updated" date above shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be made clearly visible on this page.

For any question about this Privacy Policy or to exercise your rights, contact us at hi@alanbraxe.com, or by post at: VULTURE, CHEZ BURODAFER, 5 RUE DES SUISSES, 75014 PARIS, France.
